Exhibition Introduction – Bacalhau

本次展覽是創作者陳家欣對「食物與記憶」的第三次探索。展覽以一個關於水獺尋找鱈魚王的短篇故事為序幕，帶領觀者思考馬介休（Bacalhau）的由來。

This exhibition marks creator Vanda Chan’s third exploration into “Food and Memory.” The journey begins with a short fable of otters seeking the Cod King, inviting the audience to reflect on the origins of Bacalhau (Salted Cod).

在以往物資匱乏的背景下，人類利用鹽醃工藝將海洋的味道「鎖」住並帶回家鄉，這份智慧賦予了鱈魚跨越時空的地位。

In times of scarcity, the craft of salt-curing allowed the ocean’s essence to be “locked” and carried back to distant homelands—a practice that granted cod a timeless significance throughout history.

現場除了展出故事系列插畫外，亦同時呈現了多幅關於馬介休菜式的繪畫作品。從葡萄牙的靈魂食材到澳門土生菜的演變，一條平凡的鱈魚在不同的文化背景下，幻化成各具特色的美味。本展覽希望與觀眾一同重新認識這份連結海洋與家鄉的歷史滋味。

In addition to the story-based illustrations, the exhibition features a collection of works depicting various Bacalhau dishes. From its roots in Portuguese cuisine to its evolution into Macanese fusion, these paintings showcase how cod transforms into diverse delicacies across different cultures. This exhibition seeks to rediscover, together with the audience, the historical flavours that bridge the sea and the home.

參展藝術家｜陳家欣Artist｜Vanda Chan

澳門自由插畫家與兒童繪畫導師，畢業於英國法爾茅斯大學 (Falmouth University) 插畫碩士學位。陳家欣的創作靈感多源自「食物的故事」 。她致力於探索世界各地的美食文化，希望透過畫筆，將享受美食所帶來的喜悅與溫暖傳達給每一位觀眾。

A Macao-based freelance illustrator and children’s art instructor. She holds a Master’s degree in Illustration from Falmouth University, UK.

Vanda’s creative inspiration mostly comes from “the stories of food.” She loves exploring food cultures from around the world and hopes to share the joy and warmth of eating through her colorful artworks.

陳家欣個展《馬介休》｜從鹽醃鱈魚到城市記憶

在澳門從葡式餐廳到地道茶餐廳，馬介休（Bacalhau）始終是不曾缺席的角色。藝術家陳家欣在個展中，以「水獺尋找鱈魚王」為故事主線，透過生動的插畫敘事，探尋馬介休的由來。

水彩筆觸下的舌尖溫度

技法融合｜結合水彩暈染與數碼繪圖，保留了手繪的溫暖筆觸，使畫面呈現如家常料理般樸實、親切的質感。

視覺語言｜風格幽默且活潑，色彩明亮奔放。線條柔和且不刻意追求寫實，更偏向敘事性插畫。作品圍繞飲食文化，透過描繪各種餐桌場上澳門獨有的土生葡菜，記錄澳門的城市記憶與文化特色。

不只是一場關於「吃」的展覽，

更是一份以土生葡菜為媒介的城市檔案。

藝術家透過描繪澳門特有的飲食文化，記錄下屬於這座城市的集體文化特色與跨海記憶。土生葡菜不僅是美食，更是澳門歷史的一部分。
